Chlorine tablets smell bad in the bucket and bad in the spa. Bromine is a little bit better, but I can still smell it on my skin and on my hair hours after soaking. Have you ever opened up your spa cover and detected the strong smell of chlorine?  That’s the smell of combined molecules, either chloramines or bromamines. Salt systems are much less likely to produce these foul smelling mutations of chlorine, because after a chlorine molecule is used up, it reverts back to salt, a.k.a. sodium chloride!
Like most of the portable hot tubs that are available to buy you can’t usually use the heater and the bubbles or the jets at the same time. The bubbles have a 30 minutes run time and the jets have a 60 minute run time and in that time the temperature of the water can drop a few degrees because of the cold air bubbling through the water. There’s less heat loss with the water jets. The heater can be switched back on straight afterwards.
Accessories There is a large variety of accessories that help maintain them in a great shape or help enhance the experience for those who use them. These accessories are the carry bag, the cover, the filter cartridge, and the chemical floater. The cover ensures insulation when it is not in use for the heating process to go faster when it will be put to use once again. It also ensures increased safety for those who have children, making it impossible for the small ones to use it without adult supervision. The carry bag provides a convenient transportation method when deflated. The other accessories that we have mentioned, more precisely the filter cartridge and the chemical floater ensure that the water will remain clean and safe to sit in. The Bestway Miami is 71 inches in diameter, making it one of the smallest. Fitting 4 adults in this hot tub is a squeeze. You may have noticed by now that most inflatable spas in reality cannot comfortably cope with the number of people recommended by the manufacturer. They are never as big as they are made out to be! The Bestway Miami is no exception here, with our recommendation being 2 people comfortably and 3 max.

It isn’t designed to be left running 24/7, and will automatically shut off after around 48hrs. If you intend to make regular use of a hot tub and don’t want to have to keep waiting for the water to get back up to temperature, then a portable hot tub may not be the be the most efficient choice. Paris is a circle-shaped Lay-Z-Spa inflatable hot tub, and while it accommodates freely 6 people, it doesn’t include the beach alike set of extra features. The water filtration system here is the standard for tubs, filtering impurities and keeping the water bacteria free, so it will not suit well an implementation by the beach as the system can deteriorate over time. Paris is ideal for pool side, urban ambients, and one of its exclusive features is the set of LED lights to make it even more pleasant and cosy for social gathering by the night during your pool party.
This means that you can sit on the edges and they will not change shape under your weight. Also, the floor is air pad-cushioned so you will enjoy a soft sitting surface no matter where you place it. Six adults can fit in this hot tub that can hold 260 gallons of water and measures 77 inches in diameter and 26 inches in height. It comes with a pump that inflates it in a few minutes and a control panel that allows you to set the water temperature to up to 104 degrees F.
Keeping your inflatable hot tub at 102°, if your weather is 65° should only use about 4 kWh per day if it is used every day. So a scenario of $0.08 per kWh for 4 hours a day should be under $10 a month. A stationary hard hot tub costs much more to run and maintain which can cost anywhere between $38 to $80 per month depending on use, weather and insulation.
. Although it's a company that has been around since the 1950s, when it started making pumps that could be submerged in bathtubs, people often use the word to describe a spa or hot tub, even if it's another brand. All describe a large tub that is used for relaxation, hydrotherapy, warmth, and entertaining. All are equipped with built-in jets for targeting bathers' sore muscles.
I bought the deluxe bubble / jet version and it's impressive. But the first week I had it I noticed the spa was losing air slowly and I had to top it off with air every day. I called intex support and they shipped me a replacement tub. It arrived in less than one week. The new one works great so far. I had a great support experience from Intex. Maybe they've made some improvements.

Just in case you have a vision in your head of blowing this thing up like a beach ball then let me clear that up for you, the control pump supplied with this hot tub to run it is also used to inflate it. You need to find a space where you want place your hot tub, it needs to be flat with access to an electricity outlet. They have made sure with this tub to have the outlets marked up so it is easy to couple it with the pump. Firstly though you need to inflate it by connecting the inflation adapter and hose to the tub and the pump and press the bubble button to blow air into it. You will know you have sufficient air in it when it is firm to the touch.
When it comes to price, there is no competition. You definitely need much less money for an inflatable hot tub than you would for a conventional hot tub. The price difference is enormous. The former costs about a tenth of the price of the former. Moreover, you also save on the set-up expenses as you do not need to hire a plumber and electrician. You are not also required to spend on building a firm foundation. All you need for an inflatable hot tub is to find a level ground where you can set it up.

The Bestway SaluSpa Siena AirJet Tub shrinks everything enjoyable about a normal hot tub down into a two-person size. With the smaller profile comes an individualized hot tub experience that features personal water jets, contoured seating and an automatic start-and-stop timer. The shape of the tub is long and narrow, making it easy to fit in smaller spaces and between furniture and other obstacles.
Our number one choice is the Coleman Inflatable Tub. It's reasonably priced, fits four to six adults and offers better quality than the other two choices. However, you've been given the details- the good, the bad and the ugly- on each hot tub. It's up to you to determine which hot tub best suits your situation and lifestyle. Happy portable hot tub hunting, and we hope that you find the one that fits you the best.
It has enough room to sit 4 people according to the manufacturer. As with all other “4 person hot tubs”, get ready for some intimate time with your buddies. This is fine if you are close friends, but not so comfortable if you are not. The exterior layer is a brownish synthetic leather. It is a matter of personal preference, but we don’t like it at all.

The first thing that comes to mind when you think about a hot tub is luxury. While it is true that hard-side models come at inaccessible prices for most, the same cannot be said about inflating tubs. Inflatables provide all the benefits of traditional hot tubs, but they come with their own set of advantages, the most important being the fact that they are cheaper. To learn more about these amazing additions that you can make to your home, read the following lines.
A built-in hot tub is really heavy – and it is built-in. You cannot carry it around. It is more or less a permanent fixture in your home. If you want to move it, you will have to spend several days just disassembling it. You will have to hire an electrician and plumber to help you with the more technical aspects involved in installing or disassembling a traditional hot tub.

Since it makes use outside air, the temperature may affect that of the water. The colder it is outside, the more noticeable the decrease in the water’s temperature. In worse cases, it is not a sudden drop but more of a gradual process as the bubble jets continue to run. We have yet to see an inflatable spa with heated bubble jets. Once that becomes available, you’ll definitely find it here first.
If you want to make full use of your hot tub experience, make sure to purchase hot tub accessories like glass holders, headrests, inflatable benches, extra filter cartridges, pool/tub sponges, and spa seats. These accessories are not included in a basic inflatable hot tub setup. Spare parts and accessories can also be purchased from After Sales suppliers or from your hot tub’s manufacturer.

In a worst case scenario the part that blows up the inflatable hot tub can malfunction, meaning that you’re left with a deflated piece of strong plastic. Portable hot tubs provide a great sense of security in that their main parts are the control panel and the heating element, which are all built into the tub itself. With inflatable hot tubs having a separate heater/blower, it takes something as simple as a person forgetting to pack it or that piece short circuiting to ruin everyone’s fun.
The LED lightning system is interchangeable, so it can either switch randomly from color to color or you can set only one hue permanently. There are 7 different colors for the LED panel that is installed in the interior walls of the tub. The tub pool itself has translucid walls that allow the lights to illuminate the whole tub.The jets of Paris are bubbles only and they follow a pattern that is also implemented in the next models of the series: the jets here are quite small air streams, 120 total, blowing high-pressure air for a quite bubbly experience. While it doesn’t work like the massage jets, it still offers high pressure jets that can be soothing.
For the last 40 years or so, the Intex family of companies has made spas, pools, airbeds, and other types of furniture and accessories. Their first inflatable item was a beach ball, and they made their first above-ground swimming pool in 1997. Intex spa tub products can be found in more than 100 countries all over the world. The Intex spa reviews are generally positive.

The Intex Pure Inflatable 6-Person Portable Hot Tub is a spa/hot tub that can be quickly inflated and ready to be filled with water in about 20-minutes. It’s has a flexible lightweight design that’s sturdy enough to hold 6-people but is easy enough to deflate for storage or transportation. This means that this hot tub can be used just about anywhere you’d like to enjoy it’s 170-degree heated water and bubble jets. All controlled from an easy-to-use control panel. The drain valve is conveniently placed and the tub has luxury features such as the Lay-Z massage feature, which is an added advantage. The Design – The design of this product is something else that is worth mentioning – it has one of the coolest spa designs currently on the market. With a dimension of 70 x 66 x 29 inches, there is more than enough seating. Due to the deeper seating, the spa is more comfortable. The spa also comes with a high-quality cover and the air mixing valves make for a soothing massage.
