Shape: While most tubs in general, either traditional or inflatable, have a round shape, but you can find many other shapes in the market, from square to octagonal to rectangular. This kind of detail is important to consider when you have other people in mind to get into the hot tub with you. Squared tubs are better for tall people as there will be less legs battles in the middle of the tub and people will not get uncomfortable easier. Round, circle-shaped tubs are ideal for thinner people or even for a romantic scenario as it is easier to get cosy. The visual impact also poses a difference that will suit more one or another taste.
This is the best $360 we've ever spent. We use it once or twice a day since we got it 2 months ago. So... it took about 15 hours to heat up to 104 degrees to start things off. To save money on electricity we turn it off after our last use for the day,,, around 5pm,, leaving only the water circulating on. Then when we get up 5/6am we turn the heater back on and it's ready to go at 104 degrees around 3pm that afternoon. Since I've never had a spa or pool before that I had to maintain chemical balances, that was a little confusing until we educated ourselves. There is an automatic run time clock on the unit but I've never taken the time to learn how to use it. Assembly,,, was easy but I wish I had a video to watch (I learned a lot ... full review

It costs less than $400, but you do get a lot of value for your money according to many Intex spa hot tub reviews. The setup and the heating won’t take too much time, with the inflating procedure taking only about 5 minutes or so. The bubbles are terrific if you want to sit back and relax. It’s well made and the tub walls are tough enough to support the weight of the users. It can handle about 600 pounds of people, which today means a regular couple and two little kids. If you do have any warranty issues, the customer support is outstanding.

Accessories There is a large variety of accessories that help maintain them in a great shape or help enhance the experience for those who use them. These accessories are the carry bag, the cover, the filter cartridge, and the chemical floater. The cover ensures insulation when it is not in use for the heating process to go faster when it will be put to use once again. It also ensures increased safety for those who have children, making it impossible for the small ones to use it without adult supervision. The carry bag provides a convenient transportation method when deflated. The other accessories that we have mentioned, more precisely the filter cartridge and the chemical floater ensure that the water will remain clean and safe to sit in. If you do not buy a quality hot tub, you will end up regretting it as the material won’t resist intense use and it will get punctured easily. This lack of durability is a major flaw as it shows that it is not a dependable investment, not lasting as long as you would like it to last. Of course, even if you spend your money on the best one, it will still be outshined by a hard side tub when it comes to the durability of the construction.
Here is where we need to raise another limitation. Yet another impact of running on relatively low power is the fact that for most inflatables you cannot have both the bubble system and the heating system operating at the same time. So when you are enjoying the bubbles and the water starts to get cold your going to have to turn off the bubbles before you can turn on the heater.
Basically, there are two types of hot tubs and spas: portable and custom-built or in-ground. Portable models can accommodate anywhere from two to eight or more adults. They can be inflatable latex or vinyl, which are usually less expensive; fiberglass; acrylic; polyethylene; or another type of plastic. Some hot tubs are built in traditional wood or even out of recycled materials, like metal bins or barrels.
Let’s say you order one right now. You wait a few days, and the portable hot tub is delivered to your doorstep. You won’t have to wait all that long to enjoy it—you can get it up and running in just a short while. It really is that easy to set up. That’s not exactly what happens when you put in an in-ground spa. You’re going to have to get it professionally installed, and then you will have to wait a few days to install a hot tub in-ground.
Unlike certain recreational water gadgets, you can maintain an inflatable tub easily. It’s not complicated as all you need to do is keep the water at a specific pH and clean out the filters regularly. It’s also a great consolation that the filtration system comes attached to the tub so that you don’t have to set it up or mess with it in any way. Just clean the filters often, and it will work perfectly.
Bathing is that sacrosanct activity that has historically been known to be much more than just cleaning oneself. The hygiene part aside, most people have confirmed that bathing is that time of the day when the mind feels relaxed and you get a lot of thinking done. Solutions to important problems and strategies to enhance your activities are most likely to present themselves to you at such relaxed junctures. So when you engage in such an important activity, it is important to use the right methods. Here are a list of pros and cons of bathing in inflatable hot tubs.
When looking for an inflatable hot tub I would be surprised if you haven’t heard about the Coleman Saluspa(Lay Z Spa)Hot Tub which are one of the most popular choices that customers have made. If you’re serious about buying a hot tub you’ll probably be reading as many reviews as you can to get as well informed as you can. We thought we’d go over what customers are saying and give a list of pros and cons to help you out.
It has enough room to sit 4 people according to the manufacturer. As with all other “4 person hot tubs”, get ready for some intimate time with your buddies. This is fine if you are close friends, but not so comfortable if you are not. The exterior layer is a brownish synthetic leather. It is a matter of personal preference, but we don’t like it at all.
Because it takes a long time to heat, it’s expected to consume more energy. However, that’s only one of the reasons why inflatable hot tubs might not be an energy- saver. It also depends on how often, and when you’re using it and whether you use a small one or one for 6 persons. When used outside, inflatable hot tubs are prone to loose heat faster compared to inside use. Weather conditions surrounding it is also a factor.
It isn’t designed to be left running 24/7, and will automatically shut off after around 48hrs. If you intend to make regular use of a hot tub and don’t want to have to keep waiting for the water to get back up to temperature, then a portable hot tub may not be the be the most efficient choice. If, however, you are simply looking for something to enhance your weekends, a portable spa is definitely the answer,
Once the set is fully inflated, you have to fill it in on your own, making use of a garden hose for example. When the tub is ready to use, you can adjust how much hot you want the water to be and for how long you want it to keep heating. The same goes for the jet heads functioning, all can be adjusted and timed by digital controlling. The main difference between the system of an inflatable and a traditional hot tub is the disposition of the motor/engine that filters, heats and blows water and air. On traditional tubs it will be placed built-in, while on the inflatable one it is a sided appliance.
